“…Our 3 days/2 nights bike trip in the Mekong Delta would have been perfect. Great way to see the country up close, well organised, backed up by a nice bus driven by an also personable driver that could accommodate us and bikes whenever we needed a rest. There was always a shower, good meal and superb accommodation provided everyday to ensure for our trip ran smoothly. We loved the fact that we were hardly on any roads – just the sidewalk-like paths that connected the villages on the Delta islands. DAY 1 Ho Chi Minh - Can Tho

This early morning, leave Ho Chi Minh City for Cai Lay rural district, Tien Giang province for starting your 40 kilometer biking trip through the countryside. Ride along sand and dirt paths, the typical path in the villages to explore real-life activities of local people in Mekong delta. It’s time for you to enjoy the peaceful tranquil with large green rice fields, lush orchards and see Vietnamese peasants doing their farm works like growing rice and vegetable, keeping ducks on the fields and so on. Then come to Cai Be and join in a cruising trip along Mekong River to enjoy the peaceful nature and the simple local’s life with interlaced canals and the large straight fields. Discover floating market and the role of local trading in their life. Beside you can visits some local home factories as rice paste making, rice popcorn, and coconut candies. Finally, transfer to Can Tho for an overnight stay.

DAY 2 Can Tho - Cao Lanh

Wake up early in the morning and observe the busiest floating market in Mekong Delta on a short cruising trip. Following breakfast, transfer to visit Sa Dec town, Dong Thap province. and join in a biking trip. Enjoy this romantic and charming little Mekong town along beautiful country roads. Head to a historical communist base for a scenic sampan trip around and learn how communists lived and worked during the war. Then reach Cao Lanh for an overnight stay.

DAY 3 Cao Lanh - Ho Chi Minh

Fantastic Learning Experience and a Ton of Fun
– This was a good trip to see some countryside and the delta.
– The transfer was comfortable and punctual.
– Our guide was friendly, well informed and enthusiastic.
– The cycling was a good pace, and we had a support car to provide us with variety of fruits and water during our cycling.
– Interesting stop-offs and chance to meet some friendly locals, and sample some traditional delicacies!

3 days cycling in Mekong Delta
– Fantastic day for our family with our guide from Viet Prestige Travel.
– He is a very knowledgeable guide with excellent English.
– Very friendly and well organised.
– Bikes were of a high standard and adjusted for height of each person.
– Mekong Delta area was lovely for cycling – flat, pretty and saw many locals.

A must do in Mekong Delta
– We had an incredible time in this cycling tour.
– It was so much fun with the tour.
– The food was good, all of us loved.
– The driver and guide were fluent in English and easy to talk to.

Wonderful Guided Cycling Tour of Mekong Delta
