08.00AM: Viet Prestige Travel’s tour guide & driver pick you up from your hotel to visit the ancient villages of Hanoi.

09.45AM: Arrive in Duong Lam village, then riding a bicycle along the small old alleys to admire the ancient looking of village. Stop at Mong Phu temple and Mong Phu hamlet for sightseeing its long-standing village gate that was built by “Thương gia hạ môn” structure. After that, we bike around the village to observe the daily life and farming, practice of Vietnamese peasants along the paddies. Next, we stop in the biggest ancient house was build 200 years ago and the most ancient house dates back to 400 years ago. Final morning, we explore the Mia Pagoda, built in 15th century.

Afternoon Itinerary

12.00PM: Enjoy the lunch at an ancient house in the village.In the afternoon, the bus takes you again the Capital, then going to Bat Trang ceramic village that is placed along Hong River. Local artisans are renowned the world over for ceramic arts and have won many international awards. This is a very good chance for you to witness these artisans at work as we roam down narrow alleys into shops where you’ll be able to buy their refined ceramics at the reasonable prices.

06.00PM:Turn back to Hanoi capital.

A great little trip away from the hectic buzz of Hanoi 
– Viet Prestige created a great tour.
– Only 1.5 hour from Hanoi – that time is mostly getting out of the traffic in the city.
– The way to Duong Lam is scenic providing views of smaller towns and farming.
– The food was delicious. You can ask for vegetarian.
– Our guide was enthusiastic and he told us so much about the countryside life in Vietnam.
– Be adventerous!!!

Beautiful village in the paddy fields
– A channce to see traditional village life. Such a lovely day out.
– An easy bike tour down the quite country lanes… Very interesting traditional architecture, temples.
– Also loved Bat Trang. We learned how to make a cup from pottery. So fun!
– The people are very friendly and the village is beautiful.
– The travel consultant made a wonderful trip for us when we told that we would like to visit the countrysde.

Nice and ancient village
– I love the ancient atmosphere in this place.
– Duong Lam is a good place to walk or you can ride the bicycle.
– I love its natural beauty. Tourism does not impact this village so much, for now.
– Visiting Bat Trang was also a memorable experience.
– The beauty of Bat Trang was as natural as Duong Lam… Loved!
