In the morning, depart from your hotel in Siem Reap for a scenic five-hour coach transfer to Kampong Cham. A packed lunch will be provided en route. Stop to admire the ancient Kampong Kdei Bridge, a remarkable structure from the Angkorian era built under Jayavarman VII.
Board the RV La Marguerite in the mid-afternoon. Enjoy a welcome buffet and settle into your cabin. The cruise begins its navigation toward Wat Hanchey. Welcome dinner served on board.

Arrive in the peaceful riverside village of Angkor Ban, one of the few communities spared during the Khmer Rouge era. Discover its traditional wooden homes, some over a century old, and a local pagoda.
Return to the ship and continue sailing. After lunch, explore a weavers’ village on Silk Island by foot and tuk-tuk, with a visit to a local school. Return to the ship for the onward journey to Phnom Penh.
Arrive in the capital in the evening. Enjoy a lecture on Cambodia’s history by a local expert, followed by dinner.

This morning, visit Phnom Penh’s Royal Palace, home of the Cambodian monarch, and the Silver Pagoda, renowned for its national treasures. Continue to the National Museum, showcasing one of the richest collections of Khmer art.
After lunch, explore the sobering Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21), formerly a high school turned into a prison during the Khmer Rouge regime.
On the way back, stop at Wat Phnom, the spiritual heart of the city.
In the evening, enjoy a traditional Khmer dance performance onboard. Dinner and overnight stay.

Arrive in Sa Dec, a city filled with charm where French author Marguerite Duras once lived. Visit her former residence, now a museum known as the “House of the Chinese,” and explore a Cao Dai temple and the colorful market.
After lunch, cross Vinh Long province, nestled between the two arms of the Mekong.
In the afternoon, explore Tan Phong Island by local boat. Witness artisans crafting decorative objects from water hyacinths, ride through fruit orchards by local vehicle, and sample exotic fruits in a garden. Before returning, visit a family workshop making rice paper and coconut sweets, and admire the Gothic-style cathedral of Cai Be from the water. Dinner served onboard.
